Kansas City Chiefs Confirm Alleged Abuse Allegations Involving Player the Athlete

The Kansas City Chiefs issued a statement Wednesday night confirming they have knowledge of claims of abuse circulated in social media posts by a ex-partner of wide receiver Rashee Rice and were in contact with the NFL.

The team omitted the name of Rice specifically in their announcement and said they would have “nothing more to add at this time”.

Dacoda Nichole Jones, who likewise did not name the athlete by name, shared a set of images on social media that appeared to show indicators of bodily harm. She stated the person involved was the parent of her kids, and reports indicate she has kids with the football player, whom the team drafted in the second round.
