FC Barcelona to Host Inaugural Fixture at Upgraded Camp Nou over the weekend
The club confirmed they will play at the partially upgraded Camp Nou on Saturday. Athletic Bilbao will visit the Basque side in domestic competition 30 months following their departure to allow renovations to start.

Attendance will be limited with 45,401 fans are permitted inside based on approved permits. Once fully finished, the Camp Nou is due to hold over 104,000 attendees, up from the previous 99,000. The club said completed upgrades featured an updated entryway for the team along with upgraded changing facilities.
Preparatory Events
The club conducted a fan-accessible workout inside the stadium on 7 November. They mentioned they were hoping for permission from Uefa to play their next home Champions League game versus the German side on 9 December in the renovated venue. Their recent games have been held at Estadio Olímpic Lluís Companys.
