Comedian and author David Walliams lost his contract with publishing house.
Best-selling writer for children and TV personality David Walliams is no longer with his publisher HarperCollins UK, according to an announcement.
A spokesman for the publisher stated: "After careful consideration, and under the leadership of its fresh leadership, HarperCollins UK has chosen to cease publishing additional books by David Walliams."
Reports indicate that the decision was made after an inquiry regarding reports of questionable actions towards young women.
The firm did not confirm the reasons for its decision, stating: "We refrain from speaking about confidential company decisions."
A Prolific Publishing History
Walliams is one of the UK's most successful children's authors, with sales exceeding over six tens of millions of copies globally in five dozen languages.

Some of his titles, for example *Gangsta Granny* and *Billionaire Boy*, have found new life as TV movies.
He has published over four dozen titles altogether, encompassing a festive story named *Santa & Son*, which was released through HarperCollins this past October.
From Screen to Page
His career breakthrough occurred on the broadcast sketch program *Little Britain* and has been honored with National Television Awards for his role as a panelist on *Britain's Got Talent*.
He received an OBE in 2017 in recognition of his work for the charitable sector and arts community.
This development follows the naming of Kate Elton as HarperCollins UK's new chief executive this past October.
